So you 2, would you summarize what you think for me about the definition of the soul and spirit..?
soul = the entire being. including the spirit, body and imperfections, tendency toward
sin and all...
spirit = The personalized life force with our feelings desires and also the perfect part
of being that is connected to God...like the CHI

in the last chapter of the bible jesus is three times portrayed as saying: "i come quickly.
" the last of these three statements actually reads: "surely i come quickly.
" ( rev 22:7, 12, 20 ) does the passage of nearly 2000 years since those words were written indicate that this bible prophecy is trustworthy?
I never thought I'd be quoting Jim Baker...but was watching his show out of sheer boredom on a vacation and but he said something that made sense about this...
He said that when Jesus said he was coming quickly meant...that once the presence of Christ began...THEN it would all roll very quickly... Unlike the JW's see it almost a hundred years in the making already. So the Presence of Christ up to the New world would take place quickly.

I'm married for almost 30 years and have had continuously a crush on someone...What is about me? Never could help it, am 52 now and have decided not to feel guilty for feelings I've never had any control of anyways...One crush was bad, my boss, I had to quit..because of it...so embarrassing... As he was the presiding overseer of another congregation and married too. I'm sure when weaknesses were passed out I took the cake for this one.

Tetrapod:...loved your thoughts about him being completely fearless....that is an awesome concept. I definately agree...that sets the saints apart from the regular people. They really don't even have to be perfect, like you pointed out. The world needs more heros....right? Especially the hero who will come on the white horse to save the world....! Everybody has to love a courageous hero.. Love the way Jesus stood before the crowd and blasted the pharisees and scribes..."offsprings of vipers, etc.) He even knew they would probably plot to kill him...

He would get rid of elders, Kingdom halls and go back to small groups in the home. He would get rid of the governing body with that awful title....and not let them make our christian decisions for us. He would give women more rights, and everybody in general, personal rights; like the right to have a beard!!!! He would recognize that JW's have every bit the same clergy and laity system as the Catholic church and Yes :

Truthseeker...Another really great article...That's the main reason I left the religion after 26 years...because I feel an impelling need to help jesus to turn this world around and no, I don't think it's just a matter of him coming on a cloud, zapping the bad as JW's seem to imagine it...They don't have a clue...But I think the kingdom is coming in a very real fleshly way that we as anointed Christians can have a part in. But surely not as a Jehovah Witness....all they say is ....WE ARE NOT PART OF THE WORLD...~ I'm so sick of that expression as an excuse not to help or do anything at all to help mankind except give out mags....and invite them to be a member of mind control and Okay, learn some of the bible...
